Get equipped for ministry in smaller breakouts covering topics on leadership, ministry skills, and personal growth.
Evangelism in a Skeptical World
The world today is becoming more pluralistic, volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous. In such a world, our churches will definitely reach out and share the gospel with the non-believers who are having doubts and reservations to the information that is offered to them. How then can we engage these people? Join us as we explore how we can evangelise in a skeptical world.
Cultivating a Vibrant Prayer Life as a Leader
Being a leader in church means that we have to keep watch over our flock and give an account to God. This means we carry a lot of burden. But we do not need to bear these burdens alone if we bring them to God in prayer. Moreover, as we yearn for revival in our churches, it is inevitable that we, the leaders in the church, learn first how to pray and seek God as the first option and not as the last resort. Join us, as we look into the cultivation of a vibrant prayer life as a leader.
Leading a church is not a one-man show. Ultimately, church is not only the business of those who are serving him full time but also the ministry of those who consider themselves as members of the church. Hence, we need to do church as a team. This session aims to equip leaders on some practical tips to build their team as they pioneer and lead their churches.
Theology for Ministry: How Doctrines Affect Pastoral Practices
Theology is more than an academic exercise. At its core, anyone who talks and preaches about God and the gospel is effectively dealing with theology. As such, there is a deeper relationship between our doctrines and ministry than we realise. Join us as we explore how theology affects our pastoral and ministry practices.
Living Out an Evangelistic Lifestyle
Evangelism is more than just running church outreach events and special evangelistic services. We are all called to share the gospel and make disciples wherever we go – as part of our lifestyles. Join us, as we learn how to live out an evangelistic lifestyle as a leader and impart the same spirit to our churches.
