Discipleship and Outreach in an Online World

Track: Ministry Skills
The digital world of today has enabled people to connect across borders like never before. How can the Church leverage on the online world to disciple and care for believers, and also reach out to more pre-believers? Join this workshop to hear testimonies and learn effective strategies on utilising technology for discipleship, outreach and care. 

Lab 3:
Leadership Multiplication 

Track: Ministry Skills
Raising new spiritual leaders is necessary for growth. What kind of qualities should we look out for in identifying new leaders? How can we help these individuals rise up to the call of God? Join this workshop to learn how to identify and disciple new leaders to what God has called them to. 

Lab 4:
Crucial Conversations for Mentoring  

Track: Leadership
As mentors, we will have to guide our mentees through challenging issues in their lives. In such situations, crucial but difficult conversations are necessary to help our mentees make sense of what they are going through and to challenge them towards spiritual growth. Learn practical tips and principles on having these potentially tough conversations!

Building a Students’ Ministry 

Track: Leadership
How do we effectively engage students and build an attractive students’ ministry? What are some methods in mobilising the youth of today in both discipleship and outreach? Join this workshop to hear success stories and learn ways to build a vibrant students’ ministry.

Lab 6:
Reading the Bible for All Its Worth 

Track: Personal Growth 
The Bible contains the very words of the living God written to varying audiences in varying contexts over many years. As such, how can we read the Bible in a way that will help us to truly understand its message? How then can we apply its modern day implications in our lives? Through this workshop, learn how to read the Bible in ways that will enrich our understanding of who God is. 

Lab 7:
Venturing into BGR  

Track: Personal Growth    
As Christ-followers, we seek to honour God in all areas of our lives, including the aspect of Boy-Girl-Relationships (BGR). What does the Bible teach us regarding BGR? Participate in this workshop to learn how we can help our members understand the why, who and how of BGR.
